Altar Installation Collaboration
Participate in the ceremony by creating an altar at our wedding.
We invite all of our guests to arrive to the ceremony with materials, trinkets, treasures, or any special objects.
A table will be designated for the placement of these objects and will eventually take form, throughout the reception, to create an altar- or a place of intent.
The objects or materials can be of any size or quantity, and placed in any way that each guests intends.
We feel this will create an opportunity for every person to give blessings to this event with gifts of personal value. For us, weddings aren't about getting cool presents. They are about performing a ritual of meaningful symbols to unify family and friends, in the recognition of love.
So if you can't afford to buy us a set of dishes, don't worry.
We encourage you to consider the treasures of antiquity, beauty and reverence.

Wardrobe--- Color Palette Reference photos
If you are in the ceremony, or want to coordinate your attire with our aesthetic (which, by the way, is not necessary), then here is a visual reference to some colors we find inspiring:
*Perhaps these photo references are too abstract for some. Of course don't expect you to wear a rusted metal wall to the event! But we feel flexible about the color scheme, in terms of what people wear, because we know that different people feel comfortable in different hues.
In words, we are going for "autumn" colors- natural & muted:
-Gray (anywhere from charcoal to heather)
-Brown
-Yellow Ochre
-Creams, Tan, Ivory, Oyster, Honey
-Pale blue
but really... c'mon... it's just a wedding.
